Hello World,
I've been busy since May 21st studying for an exam that happened last June 12th. Finally had some studio time so please give me your comments on revisions and new songs.
I re-recorded the vocals for "Toss" and have included a new original song called "Of Course That Must Be" and two covers "Warning Sign" (written by Coldplay) and "Between the bars"...both will be remastered eventually.
So what have you all been up to?
Best wishes,

What are your favorite albums of the moment?
Right now (in no order), these are albums that have at least 8-12 incredible songs....
"Life" by Inspiral Carpets
"Strangetimes" by The Chameleons
"Zen Arcade" by Husker Du
"Songs for a Blue Guitar" by Red House Painters
"Avalon" by Roxy Music
"Sheer Heart Attack" by Queen
"Skylarking" by XTC
"Either/or" by Elliot Smith
"The Hurting" by Tears for Fears
"Fishbone" by "Fishbone"
These were the first that came to mind...
I really love Elliot Smith's lyrics, this one caught me while I driving to Alameda to the ATM machine:
"Drink up baby, look at the stars, I'll kiss you again between the bars where I'm seeing you there with your hands in the air waiting to finally be caught...."
I feel those lyrics...
Ready for the weekend? Time to record will upload new stuff if anything comes out of the studio this weekend.

Well, I thought I did a journal yesterday. This will be my second try. *sips beer*, got back from singing lessons today. I've got lots to learn about vocalizing and my instructor is tough on me.
Learned about breathing whilst starting off singing with a consonant and whilst starting off singing with a word that begins with a noun.
Then, I learned the 9 vowel pronounciations and how to sing them with the utmost strength and boy did I suck at that.
Ah, Eh, EE, ay, ooh, Oh, ow, uh, ih
I think "I" should be in there too...oh well, I'll be practicing my vocalizing over the weekend. Currently have the sketch of a song done called "Of Course That Must Be" it's sort of bittersweet...essentially the song is about being in love with a "friend" that loves you...but not the kind of love that preferred unfortunately.
I'll into the details once I've finished the song. It's got a mellow beat that's quite infectious similar to perhaps "Ocean Blue"; I like the song a lot.
Well, cheers to my first journal entry. I still haven't figured out if the mp3 song I uploaded is available for everyone to listen to. It's a song called "Toss." The lyrics have to be rerecorded but musically, I'm pretty happy with it.
If you can see it let me know. If you can explain to me why it isn't public, please teach me how...
Thanks world!!
Much love and peace to you all,
tones
PS, I forgot
